Market Lead
As a Market Lead, you’ll be the face of Woodland Wellness at local farmers’ markets, leading sales, engaging with customers, and educating the community about our herbal remedies and Ayurvedic products.
Location: Alpharetta Farmers’ Market (Saturdays), Grant Park (1x/month)
Schedule: Saturdays (7 AM - 1:30 PM), One Sunday/month (8 AM - 2 PM)
Compensation: $150 per shift + tips + performance bonus
Key Responsibilities
Set up and break down the Woodland Wellness booth
Educate and engage customers on holistic health and herbalism
Prepare and serve samples of our nourishing products
Handle transactions and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience

We’re looking for someone with customer service or sales experience who is comfortable engaging with customers and working independently.
Ideal candidates have:
Experience in customer service, retail, or sales
Strong communication and organizational skills
A passion for wellness, herbalism, or holistic health (formal training is a plus, but not required)
The ability to adapt, problem-solve, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
This role is hands-on, requires initiative and reliability, and is perfect for someone who loves educating customers and creating a welcoming experience.

This is a physical, hands-on role! Market Leads must be comfortable:
• Lifting up to 50 lbs (coolers, market gear, product boxes)
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions (we provide heaters/fans as needed)
• Standing and engaging with customers for several hours at a time

No, this role runs from April – November with a minimum commitment through the 2025 season. However, we aim to build a long-term team and may offer returning roles in future seasons.

This role primarily covers the Alpharetta Farmers’ Market (Saturdays) and Grant Park (1x/month), with occasional shifts at Peachtree Road or special events.
Reliable SUV required – Market Leads must transport market gear and store the equipment we’ll provide you (metal rack, fridge, and freezer). If unsure about space, reach out before applying.
Consider travel time, early mornings, and fuel costs if living outside Alpharetta or Atlanta.

Shifts:
Every Saturday (April–November): 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Alpharetta Farmers’ Market)
One Sunday per month: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Grant Park Farmers’ Market)
Occasional coverage at Peachtree Road Farmers’ Market or special events
Prep Time:
1–2 hours on Thursday or Friday (flexible) for market setup & restocking
This role is best for someone who can reliably commit to weekends.
